Dr. Andrea Rusilowicz
Dr. Rusilowicz grew up in Connecticut, inspired by her grandfather’s veterinary practice. From a young age, she was drawn to veterinary work, often helping in the clinic and bringing home various animals. She earned her undergraduate degree in animal science from the University of Vermont and her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, with a clinical year at Oregon State. Dr. Rusilowicz developed a passion for surgery, working in a high surgical caseload practice in Oregon, then leading a low-cost clinic in Tennessee. Now back in New England, she works as a per diem veterinarian specializing in surgery. In her free time, Dr. Rusilowicz enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, their dog and their cat. She is also an avid reader.
